Our Mission
The mission of Project A.N.G.E.L. (Area Neighbors Giving Extra Love) of Hendricks County is to bring the joy of Christmas to families in need by providing gifts, clothing and food support during the Christmas season. Together with the Hendricks County community, we share love, hope and kindness to make Christmas brighter for every child.
Project ANGEL is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization and have been serving children and families in Hendricks County Indiana for almost 40 years. Our goal is to never turn away any eligible applicants for our services due to a lack of funds. We focus on serving the low income residents and offer assistance to the "working poor" - those residents that do not qualify for normal tax supported social service programs.
We depend solely on the support of the community, board members, and volunteers to help us achieve this mission. Throughout the years we have built relationships with businesses and organizations to help us reach our goals. Together we are "Area Neighbors Giving Extra Love".
We strive to promote goodwill and good fellowship for everyone in Hendricks County. Throughout the year Project A.N.G.E.L. volunteers gather in the spirit of friendship and community to assemble donation boxes, hold fund-raisers, and organize other service projects that create an awareness of our mission and goals.
